Nomadland, la película dramática, escrita y dirigida por Chloé Zhao, fue la gran triunfadora de los Oscar 2021. La cinta se llevó el premio a la Mejor película, a Mejor Dirección (Chloé Zhao) y a Mejor Actriz por la interpretación de la gran actriz Frances McDormand, que obtiene el tercer Oscar de su carrera.
El otro gran triunfador de la noche fue Anthony Hopkins (El Padre), que hizo historia al ganar el Oscar a Mejor Actor con 83 años. El actor, que ya tenía un Oscar por ‘El silencio de los corderos’, batió ayer el récord que hasta el momento ostentaba el fallecido Christopher Plummer, que ganó una estatuilla con 82 años.
